Present your career to date to match the job requirements.

It is important to adapt your CV to each job application so that it emphasises your skills and experience that are most relevant each time. It's very common to want to write down all the responsibilities of every previous position held but this can weaken the presentation of your experience from the reader's point of view. Employers are looking for a specific set of skills and experience and will have indicated as much in the job description or advertisement for the position. If you have these skills and experiences then make sure you emphasise them when writing about each of your previous positions.
This is not dishonest, it is just highlighting certain skills and experiences over others that you may have.
